JMore Legal is a legal consultancy focusing exclusively on gambling and technology. We advise on all manner of commercial and corporate transactions involving enterprises in these sectors. The legal consultancy was set up by Jess Moreno with the objective of providing sector-focused, responsive and commercial legal advice to small and medium-sized businesses for reasonable fees.

About Jess Moreno

Jess is a commercial, regulatory and technology lawyer. She qualified as a UK solicitor in 2004 and has gained a wealth of experience advising operators and suppliers alike. Jess has for most of her career worked as in-house counsel where she has built up a strong understanding of the inner workings and commercial imperatives of gambling and technology businesses. Career Highlights

  • Commercial: lead counsel on the executive bid team responsible for winning and negotiating a contract to supply a Canadian lottery with its first online casino and sports betting system.
  • Corporate: advising on the purchase of the share capital of an online casino operator including conducting legal due diligence and obtaining regulatory consents.
  • Technology: negotiating a software licence and services agreement for the provision of a trade capture system for a Forex trading business.
  • Regulatory: drafting and negotiating territory specific agreements with tier one operators to supply game content in key regulated markets. Preparing and managing gambling licence applications with the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA), the Gambling Commission (UKGC), the Alderney Gambling Control Commission (AGCC), the Spanish Gambling Authority (DGOJ) and the Danish Gambling Authority (Spillemyndigheden).
